micr fonts for filepro

I know one current printer, I have several customers with 1320n's doing micr.
There are companies that will sell you a 1320/1320n preloaded with a memory card that has a micr font and a font with you companies logo(s), and of course the magnetic toner.
Thats a pretty cheap laser so there must be bigger ones too.

>From filepro you just use the font like any other font. Make a print code in an hplaser print code table that selects the font and away you go.

For software micr fonts it's one more step, a print code to upload the font into the printer at the beginning of the job, no different than any other software font, (bar codes would be the most common other example I guess)

There is no "product" other than the font itself.
