with filePro files can be done within filePro itself . . .

By overlaying an Alien filePro file over a *real* filePro key file
(and data file if necessary - but it shouldn't be in this day and
age) a lot of data analysis and repairs can be done.

I've also used GAWK to read data from filePro files and then fix
the data in them.
