Corrupted in what way, by what? (As in BSOD on startup,
infested with a virus which has clobbered every file with
a EXE extention, or rendered horribly slow with spyware
infections plus windows updates are disabled?) If you
could give us a description of the problem, you would make
it easier for us to point you in the right direction....
Each one of these problems has a very different procedure
to fix it.
Starting point: make a backup of whatever is on the HD now.
My favorite method is to boot from a [1]Bart PE boot disk
<http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4007.html>, plug in an
external HD (USB) and then copy the entire HD to the external
HD.
After you tell us what the symptoms/probable cause of
the corruption, more help will come your way.
[1] Bart PE has to be downloaded to a working XP computer and
then build the ISO and burn the CD. Just go with the default
for everything - don't try to customize it immediately. Make
the boot CD then play add-ons later.
