5.6 index selection

We're finally getting around to updating to the latest
5.6 version (Windows ODBC 5.6.09) and have run into something
strange.  Index selection screens no longer have an
"X" to exit option (e.g., rclerk name -s1 -xi).
Can this be easily restored (e.g., with an environmental
variable I'm just not seeing)?
