AnzioWin and Print Wizard would "make this job a lot easier to do".
Use AnzioWin if your filePro runs on Unix/Linux. AnzioWin includes the
Print Wizard "engine" for passthrough print jobs. Starts at $150.
Use Print Wizard if your filePro runs on Windows. Starts at $99.
To make an overlay, do any of these things:
1. Take an existing paper form, scan it at full size (8 1/2 by 11" for
instance), and save it as a BMP, GIF, JPG, or TIF.
2. Design a fullpage image in a photo program.
3. Take an existing PDF, DOC, WPD, etc. Print it to file using a PCL-5
driver. That's all!
4. Design a new form in Word, Excel, Publisher, or whatever. Print to file
using a PCL-5 driver.
PCL files can even be multiple pages; the page images will be cycled.
It really is easy! PW does all the work for you. Not only can you use this
overlay on a PCL-5 printer, you can:
* Use it on ANY Windows-supported printer. Just tell AnzioWin/PW to
translate the PCL.
* Create PDFs with the overlay (and email them).
* Create faxes with the overlay.
