Utility Program - WhoLockMe

The reason I wanted the program was that I wanted to delete a file
that I could not, because it was being held open by another program.

The additional benefit that "WhoLockMe" afforded me was that it
offered the opportunity to kill the program that was locking my
file of interest and the folder that held it.  The folder was:

  C:\.deleted

Being the Windows expert I am, I have no idea what that folder is
for, what it is created by, nor why it can't be deleted (nor do I
recall why I wanted to delete it).  Anyway, it's gone.
