I suspect he has Anzio's Print Level set to High, and so the escape codes
that result from the printcodes are being drawn on the page, instead of
obeyed. Two options:
1. Set Print Level to Spooler. Then Anzio and Windows will be transparent.
Then experiment with which printcode table works best.
2. Upgrade to AnzioWin, turn on Print Wizard and PCL translation, and he
can print on any printer that Windows supports.
