Good grief, Dennis - just post the entire automatic table for starters.

That was good hint.  Either you have something changing the record 
in automatic prc, or your @entsel or @key routine does not look 
like what you described or you haven't tokenized everything and 
therefore are not testing with the processing that you see.

Also, I'm wondering if you stated your original problem in a way 
that reflects what is actually happening.
