dknf solved.
After sending the previous post, I later got dknf in clerk in that same file
when I simply updated that field and hit esc-esc.
That made me realize something is up and remember there was something that
happened today about that file/field. I changed the edit on field 62 from
(16,.0) to (16,*) today. Index I was created on field 62 long ago and I didn't
change it or rebuild it.
No records had any data in that field and the field length didn't change, so it
doesn't seem like there should be anything in the index to rebuild. But really,
I just forgot.
I rebuilt index I and no more dknf.
