laser labels

One of the capabilities of our Print Wizard product is to convert
continuous-feed formatted labels into full-sheet labels. We do this for
many libraries, for instance, for printing spine labels for books. But I'm
not sure if anyone has done this with filePro.

Here's how it could work:

1. You would need to feed PW a file containing data for the labels, at x
lines per label, no printcodes or other escape sequences.

2. When invoking PW, you would specify a "print init" file. This is a text
file that contains the Print Wizard Markup Language (PWML) to specify all
the label dimensions relative to the page, and whether you want them in
row order or column order.

3. You can also specify that you want PW to present a Print Preview.

4. PW lays out the data on the page, according to the dimensions it has
been given.

5. If a Preview was requested, it is presented. You can check your
margins, spacing, etc., and adjust them if needed. You can right-click on
a particular label, and tell PW to start printing at that point on the
page, thus reusing partial sheets.

6. Click "Print" to finish printing the job.

As always, we're willing to assist.
