fPSQL error

I am getting an error from fPSQL:

Error opening sort file
/aaa008e8:  Permission denied

when I run a query on a client's Windows box that was recently restored.
This happens on at least two of the files, but does not happen on only one
of the filePro demo files that reside in the same directory.  I rebuilt
indexes and checked permissions and Novell netware rights on the folders and
files to try to find a difference bewtween the one that does not give the
error and the others and I don't see any difference.

I tried setting PFTMP to different things, but with no change to the
behavior I describe above.  Has anyone seen anything like this before?
