Print Codes

I have installed 5.6.5d9 on a new windows 2000 server to replace 4.8 on a novell server.

I have a print code that turns the HP printer into landscape and 8 lines per inch.  It works fine on the old 4.8 but in 5.6.5 it appears to be ignoring it.

my escape codes look the same:

^{\&l10 $1b & 18d

but no matter whether I send it to the lexmark or the Savin copier printer it doesn't recognise it

This is set as the Initialzation print code and the code on the report to set 10 and 17cpi work just fine.
