I want to be able to check out a customer's Windows box
via remote control. Does anyone have any opinions about programs
that they have used? TightVNC is free, but it may be missing
features found in a commercial version. Many of the PCs I get
have infections that need to be cleaned off, so a reboot and
automatic reconnect or several might be required in the process.

Ideally, it would be low cost or free and a new customer
could download something from my website (if required) and
then call me on the phone to say "my PC is ready for you to
get in and fix whatever is wrong with it - GO!". Most of my
customers are running XP, but I still have a few 2000, ME
and 98se boxes go by....
