When asked his whereabouts on Tue, Nov 07, 2006 at 06:36:51PM -0500,
Walter Vaughan took the fifth, drank it, and then slurred:

I've been wondering about that whole thing since I read it Saturday or so.
Doesn't this endorsement and partnership weaken the SCO case? I don't get
it; MS supposedly paid a -lot- to help that case along, and now they're
endorsing the very platform based on the kernel SCO is suing over.

Unless SCO lost already and I just didn't hear about it, which seems
unlikely--but remotely possible.

This whole MS/Novell-SuSE Linux agreement/partnership makes no sense to me
in the context of the whole history.

I -could- see a lot of forthcoming lawsuits by MS against RH and all the
other vendors, however. That much wouldn't make me blink.
