does say host-based printing, so yes - its mostly windows only - usually
this is a bad sign for PCL compatibility.
when in doubt, i usually consult linuxprinting.org and per the docs at:
http://www.linuxprinting.org/show_printer.cgi?recnum=HP-LaserJet_1020
some printing looks possible, but needs some hacking.
