You pretty much gave an excellent description of how Oracle or MySQL works in a 
clustering environment. It is possible to write all that is required to do a 
cluster in filePro Basic, but that's really re-inventing the wheel akin to 
writing a CPM emulator in filePro BASIC. A lot of work that in the end would be 
handled better by other means.

This is why I used to complain about letting filePro store its data natively in 
a third party data storage layer. Stuff like this would be handled by the DBMS 
engine.
