Well, the key question is whether eFax's sending client can actually accept
plaintext, or whether it needs things pre-rendered.  This may get back to
the, "filePro can't adequately support WinPrinters," argument, but I
wouldn't throw in the towel just yet.

They syntax for actually setting a windows printer has been posted to the
list repeatedly for years now.  I don't know it offhand but it's in the
archives.

I'd be very interested to see what Jim Asman has to say about this one.
He's the biggest printer and image guru I know around here.
