| I heard about that, but never saw it.
Snapp demonstrated it at a TCBUG (or whatever it was called
at the time) Conference in Fort Worth, way back when.
As I recall, Tom Podnar also had a suite where he was showing
a product that didn't have to do with backups. I -think- it
had to do with printing, and was written by some genius he
he knew.
I liked those meetings, and especially getting to know Kate
Titsworth (though her name didn't describe her body).
Also, at this or another similar meeting, was when I first
met Doug Michels - his father was supposed to be a keynote
speaker, but for some reason or another couldn't make it,
and Doug substitued for him.
Also, at one of these conferences was the first time I met
John Esak in person, and attended a filePro training program
sponsored by him (but not taught by him - maybe by Sonny Hunt).
Bob (who wonders whatever happened to Jim Foy)
PS - My first contact with Radio Shack was when it was a mail
order electric components supplier located in Boston, MA,
and I was in the US Naval Electronics School at the Great
Training Base, back during the Korean War.
After Tandy bough Radio Shack it's had its ups and downs.
It seems its most recent one was when they had to get rid
of another CEO who didn't know his ass from a hole in the
ground, but this one evidenced it early by providing a
false resume in order to get the job.
| We *did*, however, have a 16/6000 with *2* 3 user cards instead of the
| customary one; involved cutting traces, I think.
