Disabling Quit On Telnet

Thanks to everyone who took the time to give me their thoughts on this
thread. It made me realize that there are many other ways the user can
terminate the session improperly than just clicking on the "X". I bet
this causes more problems than anybody realizes. You could spend tons
of time looking for a bug in your fp application when in reality the
problem is being caused by a user terminating the telnet session at an
inappropriate time. This vastly complicates what you need to think
about in your coding..."break off" just does not get the job done!
I'd rather be left with an orphan process then have a posting routine
terminated in mid-stream. The orphan can be cleaned up with an
occasional reboot & resetting of Locked Files (which the user can do for
themselves) but the partial posting could take quite sometime to fix by
hand (which I would probably have to do). Of course, I make money by
fixing it but I still strive to make things as reliable as possible for
the client.
Regards,
Scott
