Let me clarify a point here then since Brian is incorrect in assuming
that Virtual Cards are a Microsoft-ism.

A virtual card file (vcf) is a standardized format for exchanging
contact information across many different platforms. I use Thunderbird
for email on Windows and Evolution for email on Linux. They both
understand how to read vcf files and can place the contact data with one
directly into the address book maintained by the mail utility.

I think that Outlook Express doesn't understand virtual cards because it
has restricted functionality as part of MS trying to get people to pay
more money for the full version of Outlook. I know that Outlook does
handle them just fine.

For the vcf impaired you can call me at 802-309-4781, the email address
is self-evident.
