Every last businessperson I've heard talk about Quickbooks has cited
problems with it, right down to fundamental accounting procedures. I'm no
accountant, but if I were going to implement something I'd probably rather
put in the research to do it myself than trust it to some dubious black box
that has a lot of bad PR in the industry from people that actually -know-
what they're talking about (as opposed to those who write reviews for trade
rags).
If you know the proper underlying principles, I'd say that rewriting the
relevant sections in fP is probably wiser in the long run from everything
I've heard. I'd have to look up a few people and talk to them to get
specifics, but I've heard -nothing- good about the product from anyone with
a clue that I actually trusted.
