OT: What makes a DBMS multi-valued

Yeah, that's what I said a few weeks ago when I was investigating it. I acutally 
was fooling around with connecting fpODBC to a UniVerse database around then.
The only real difference between our "associated fields" and the concept of 
"Multivalued" is that you can expand or contract number of associated fields per 
record without guilt at any time.

A lot of MRP systems are written with these systems, since things like Bill of 
Material lists then can be as deep and wide as disk space allows.

What's funny is that "they" also claim that PICK/MultiValued databases are the 
worlds best kept secret.
