'Printer' 'Video' using less not working

I'm sorry for not including that information, I meant to but it 
slipped my mind when I was posting.  Anyway, the only environment 
setting I have for less is LESS=S.  I have this same setting on other 
system and it works as expected, that's what is so baffling.
