Subject: browse lookup and -v processing
So I can't believe it but have never used a browse lookup in output processing or for that matter in a -v processing. So now I learn it is not available in output processing. So what is the approach to get a list you can select from? I am using W XP and FP 5.0
Thanks
Gary

We front end many reports with a rclerk or dclerk program that puts up the browse and takes any other selection information from a normal filepro screen, When the user presses ESC we set the criteria into the environment with putenv and do a system call to the report.
We use a "dummy" filepro file for this purpose and -xa on the command line.
