We can provide device-independent printing under many scenarios. Most
applicable:
1. In AnzioWin, we have the Print Wizard engine built in, for the
passthrough print channel. So you can use filePro's PFPT capability, and
filePro will route print jobs through the AnzioWin terminal session and
out to any Windows-visible printer.
2. We also have Print Wizard Server Edition, which runs as a separate
executable on a Windows box. It can receive print jobs in a variety of
ways from fP, and route output to any Windows-visible printer.
In either of these, you can control color (and other) printing in two
ways:
a) Configure your printing to output PCL-5, by selecting a PRT file for a
color Laserjet printer, if available. Tell Print Wizard to "TranslatePCL",
and it can output to any printer. It could also output to PDF, by the way.
b) Install and use the printwiz.prt file that we provide. This causes fP
to translate your printcodes into Print Wizard Markup Language (PWML),
which Print Wizard can process.
