Has anyone here used UniVerse?

It might help to know some background. Universe, like UniData (the other
"U" in IBM's "U2") is a clone of Pick, which was originally both a
database and an OS created by Dick Pick. At one time there were about 13
Pick clones being sold, now it has shrunk somewhat.
The general concepts of the database have not changed, I think. You can
find more information by Google for "Pick" or "Pick Basic", or
"MultiValue", a term used by a loose consortium of Pick-related companies.
Also check out the newsgroup comp.databases.pick.
As with filePro, there is a community of dedicated users, utility writers,
consultants, etc. You could probably find someone in your area to give you
a crash course.
