Has anyone here used UniVerse?

One of the ERP/MRP/CRM/DM systems we are strongly considering uses IBM's
UniVerse U2 DBMS as it's storage layer. I have found tons of information,
understand about 33% of what I am reading, but I cannot find for the life of me
a simple "how to" on how to create a database and put some data in it!

I can connect to the sample U2 files with fpOBDC, but of course the sample files
do not have a unique_id field or a something similar to a record number that I
key off of to use high-level fpODBC.

fileProODBC does seem to build well crafted connect strings, so once I build a
"useable" host database I am guessing that fpODBC will connect and work properly
with U2 databases.
