What you've done "wrong" is try to use an ancient 5.0 release. The
releases through 5.0.04 had expiration dates in them, to make sure
that people would update to the 5.0.05 version which had everything
implemented.
Surely, you must have later binaries than 5.0.00, or else you haven't
actually run filePro for several years. Get the latest 5.0.14 from
the fPTech website.
