feature list for positive suggestions

Yea, it's the lack of communication and redirecting that I'm tired of,
because if they want any more of my money, these problems must be fixed. As
John put it, "say what can and cannot be done along with a expected
timeline, and forget about the past missed dates", as "Today is the first
day of the rest of your life"... Is this too much for us, the customer to
ask?

Remember, just because I currently do more VFP than filepro doesn't mean I
want to trash filepro... If my 2 features (which is the same of many
others) were added, that would immediately translate to new revenue for
fpTech, and I would be doing more filepro, because I have a lot of money and
20+ years of development invested in it.

So, please don't label me as anti-filepro because I have probably more
invested that many on this list, and I don't like the idea of throwing all
that away. However, because I did not build my business around filepro (by
marrying it, as many have), it will be easy for me to go, and really not
look back... This is the last thing I want/need to do.

Stanley

Couple problems with the wish list. Last I heard, if it's still linked to
the one Howie wrote, you had to "trick" it into showing what's all been
suggested already to avoid redundant effort.

Main problem is that fP-Tech won't communicate back what they are
considering, what will and won't be considered, and I don't think there was
any sort of voting/ranking system that would indicate any sort of relative
importance of a requested feature.

Every time I hear the wish list mentioned these days, it's in the context
of, "Who handles the wish list suggestions, and how are those dealt with?"
I have yet to hear a satisfactory answer, or hear of one being given.
