Richard, I do a one-way post From filePro to Outlook calendar via the
icalendar (meeting.ics email attachment) spec.

That and a sample meeting.ics file (the file that gets created and emailed
if you invite or forward appt info to attendees in outlook) opened in any 
text editor, for reference is pretty much all i needed.
