It's been quite a while since I did any imports into RealWorld so I don't
remember the details offhand. There is an ASCII import capability
requiring fixed length fields in a specific format if I remember correctly.
A customer of mine has the documentation n the RW COBOL record descriptions
so I could figure it out if necessary. When I last did this, it wasn't for
updates into RW, but loading all data into a fresh RW system.
The first time I did an interface between FP and RW was 22 years ago in
1984 on a Tandy 16/6000. I did the input to the RW programs by piping
input into the programs from awk scripts and/or C programs. I went from RW
to FP by parsing the output of RW reports to create input to FP.
