I've been using a Compaq Evo N600c for the last several months.  

I think it may be the best compromise design ever to come from the hand
of man.

Long enough battery life, large enough screen and keyboard, small
enough package, and so forth.

P3m 1200/512MB/30GB/10BT/USB1.1x2/SVideo/P/S/VGA/2xPCMCIA/DVD-Combo.

8x10x1.1"  4.3lbs.  4 hours.

$425.

We have a vendor who buys lease returns, which we resell.  This thing
was a $2800 laptop, and it shows in the build quality.
