I assume you mean "install the Windows version of filePro on a *nix
server"? In that case, yes, as Windows will simply see the *nix box
as a networked drive. You can even share the key/data/index files
between the *nix and Windows versions of filePro.
If you mean "install the *nix version of filePro on a *nix box", then
no you can't run it via Samba. You can, however, telnet into the *nix
box and run it just like any other *nix application.
