Hi experts
My attempt at a alliteration, I know, is very sad and there is no lefty
and any anyone who knows me knows there is nothing logical.
But my customer, that I moved from SCO to Linux is having problems with
lock files. They never had problems like this before. ( fptech see my
recent 10 user Linux license purchase) The conversion was real easy
using cpio & rebuilding all indexes but they have to unlock files all
the time now.
Any suggestions would be appreciated
Thanks
Old Tony
What version of Linux?
It’s the latest official SME Server version is 6.01
SME is based on the RedHat
<http://contribs.org/modules/phpwiki/index.php/RedHat> 7.3 distribution
which has been modified by removing unnecessary software, and by
replacing some with more secure software. RedHat
<http://contribs.org/modules/phpwiki/index.php/RedHat> and SME use the
kernel 2.4.x.x. You can find the kernel version you're using by typing
the command /uname -r/ at the prompt. => 2.4.20-18.7. SME is
downloadable at www.contribs.org <http://www.contribs.org/> at no charge.
