So Ken, is it fully functional or partial as mentioned here.  It would be
more useful to me if I can get at the filepro data from other apps.  Can it
do that now?

Just a guess, but when people say this, I believe they mean
both ODBC-client (currently available) and ODBC-server (not
available) capability.  In other words, the ability to define
a filePro file as an ODBC data source, such that one could
pull data into Excel, or update filePro records via an ODBC
"update" statement, etc.
