Windows XP and 2 printers

Thanks for the answer. The C4100 is probably a windows based only printer
and therefore will work only with RTF60, I think. The real puzzle is that
the deskjet which was working fine stopped working when I hooked up the
C4100 to the other USB port. Now both printers seem only to work with RTF60.
Your help and advice is very appeciated.
Thanks
Gary

I don't understand what you mean by "Filepro[sic] is only happy with one
printer" or "both will either not print or print using RTF60".
Can you describe what you mean by these phrases?

The DeskJet 883c is a PCL3 printer, and the C4100 has something called "PCL3
GUI", which I assume is code for "dumb host-based printer".

For what it's worth, filePro supports up to 999 printers via pmaint, and an
infinite number via PFPRT/PFPRTC.
