And, to go even further off topic, the sales pitch *I* heard for
allowing Claer Channel to own every station in the market was that the
ability to sell advertisers cross-fleet ads would make it more likely
that we'd hear off beat formats, like straight-ahead jazz.

To the best of my knowledge, this hasn't happened once.

I really want to put up a website called promises.org...
