My hero and friend sorta, once removed.

In fact, my friend who lives near Spider and is long time friends with 
Spider & Jeane, appears as a character in his latest book.
The character is nothing like him, just carries his name.
I think it's not out yet, he read a chapter at ConCarolinas a month or so 
ago and I didn't catch it's title.

When I told them I was grabbing a 2nd copy of his CD because the ink from 
signing the first copy has etched the through the aluminum film, they forced 
a new copy on me free. I told them I was the one who supplied the pen it's 
no ones fault and I like to support my favorite 
authors/musicians/artists/etc but they wouldn't hear it.

I also just finished listening to Very Bad Deaths a few weeks ago read by 
himself.
Not sure how to rate it. I liked it but I'm unapologetically biased (heck, 
whois callahans.org) and even I can see some reasons others might not think 
it was too amazing.
