Without the Netware Client running on the Windows Computers that is
exactly what they see. Since we certainly can not register filePro with
that Drive Serial Number, I think it is a problem.
Suggestions to upgrade to 5.6 make me very nervous. Not that I expect
issues with filePro running the code but since this installation can not
afford to be down for more than a Sunday afternoon (when fptech is not
available.) I am very worried about this kind of upgrade without a test
system to insure a smooth change over.
I have no test environment for this system, it is live and runs 24/7.
We have to plan for upgrades very carefully and it is amazing how one
thing causes unexpected problems with another.
