Walter & Nancy:
Nevertheless, I appreciate your response and suggestions. Both of you hit
the nail on the head when you suggested the lookup - was changing the
orientation of the index pointer. A quick remedy once I understood why it
was happening. No offense taken.
Now, if I had more time I'd like to understand why the lookup - affected
where I was looking in the index; considering I was using global variables.
Perhaps I was because I started on the 20 yard line, did my index lookup,
moved to the 40 yard line which changed my view of the index. How's that
for layman terminology?
