Chain in *clerk

Having a BIG problem.

I wrote an application which does the following:

While looking at a record if the S is pressed a declared global variable, issale
is set to Y, the screen is switchto "blank" and the program chains to a
processing table called "call_sale".

If at any time in the processing table "call_sale, which uses a number of
listboxes and input popup statements to get values, the break key is pressed,
the program is to chain back to input.

The ending routine from the sale program does the same
(call_sale)
If:
Then: chain "input";end

(input - first executable line at the top of the table)
If: issale = "Y"
Then" switchto "sale";END

My problem, I tested this using both 1.0.13 ODBC and 5.0.14 using dclerk and it
worked perfectly.

Installed the program at my client's site running 1.0.13 ODBC runtime (rclerk)
and the program will not chain back.

I placed msgboxes in both processing tables. When I use rclerk the msgbox in
input does not appear. They both appear when using dclerk.

Have any of you run into this problem? If so were you able to solve it?
