If you are experiencing a windows debug error when exiting an fp program such as
the message I posted a few days ago, it my be caused by having a index in the
file on an associated field.
I only started to get this error when I associated the phone # fields in the
file and created an index on it. I use this index extensively in my input
processing. This causes the crash error when the program returns to the menu.
It only happens on outputs that use the phone # index.
Jim Asman advised me that he saw the same error in an application after he
created an index on an associated field.
I also tested this program using 5.0.14 and do not have this issue.
I am going to assume that this problem will be corrected in the next ODBC
release.
As an aside, this "crash" does not seem to affect any processing. I compared
outputs creating a csv file on both machines and the results were the same.
Any input processing, likewise, is OK.
I would surmise, and can correct me, that it has to do with some files are being
treated when returning to the menu. I have not run any of these programs
directly from the command prompt to see if the have the same error.
