OT: Capturing failed login attempts

Incidentally, this is how the sshd in FreeBSD 5.4 ships, for those who
don't know.

I couldn't figure out why I couldn't login to a new FreeBSD server I
installed right after 5.4 came out.  Bob @ Anzio helped me figure out
what was going on, which I'm embarrased to admit I overlooked.
