At Wed, Oct 26, 2005 at 11:12:40AM -0700 or thereabouts,
suspect Enrique Arredondo was observed uttering:

-Just- taking into account system administration, you might look at the
following URL:

http://stats.bls.gov/oco/ocos268.htm

Search for the "Earnings" section. I'd expect So. Cal. to be in the high
end of those brackets, or to exceed them, depending on several factors as
mentioned previously.

That doesn't take into account the filePro programming side of things,
which is not necessarily in huge demand, but which is also specialised.
It also doesn't account for inflation or other economic trends since 2002.

I didn't look up programmer information. The raw statistics such as the
above for most categories can be searched for at:

http://stats.bls.gov/oco/home.htm

Hopefully someone on this list from out in So. Cal. will give you something
more specific and recent, however. It would be far more useful in
practicality.

I just found this via a failed search on brainboost that gave a related
link and led me here. I know California will be on the higher end of the
scales. Can't tell you more than that myself, but you have some more data
now.

There is no "I" in TEAM.
This would be the primary reason I've chosen not to join one.
