When asked his whereabouts on Wed, Oct 26, 2005 at 02:04:01PM -0400,
Dan Coutu took the fifth, drank it, and then slurred:

The exceptions are index names in lookup statements, and subscripts for
a lookup [lr]value, are they not? The syntax i=(zz) in a LOOKUP and
lookupalias((aa)) [with or without extra parens] are both unusable,
correct?

I've often wished for the latter--I've never gotten it to work. I was told
it's not possible. The former could also be very helpful in some situations.

This would be the primary reason I've chosen not to join one.
