Locked Files

I am end user of filepro (on a SCO Unix box), and have done some programming
work over the years.
As a small manufacturer, I never got too involved with file protection or
screen protection beyond some simple stuff. Back in 1999 (before the Y2000
scare) I bought a G/L & Accts Payable system written in filepro from
WLGroup BIT Business Innovation Technologies. They have since disappeared
and I cant find support. I need to change some field values in G/L from an
aging problem, but cant modify a password-protected screen or write a
simple processing table on that file. The file directory states it is a
locked file.
Can anyone help me get around this problem?
Thanks,
Jim Benson
