using memo fields on the fly?

This is really strange... but if you do what you suggest... it core dumps...
try this:


         if:
       then: end
 @keyT   if:
       then: 5="hello";  5=5 < "goodbye"
         if:
       then: memo 5 show
         if:
       then: end

This core dumps o nmy system every time. 5.0.14D4 on SCO 5.6.

Also, there is another tiny thing about memos... it is completely
unimportant, but I think you should know about it. The memo field itself
(with its 16 ---'s or 16 ***-s) bleeds through the memo show/edit windows.
Other regular fields don't.  Just an oddity, nobody should be putting that
field on the screen anyway, because it is useless.  Once it turns to ***'s
it never turns back, even if the memo field is completely emptied.
