Brain,

I have tested with 5.014 which is the current release that all 5.0 customers 
should be using and I have tested with our internal alpha of 5.6

I can't make it fail with any of these.

dcabe atest -y auto2 -z test1
dcabe atest -z test1 -y auto2
dcabe - -y auto2
dcabe - -y auto2 -z test1

They give me the exact same results.  Can't see anyting wrong.

Maybe your lengthy email confuse me as to what I should have been testing.
Can you give us just one example that you say fails?
