Richard,

If you know the specific printer(s) that will be used on the
client machines, you can load the drivers onto the terminal
server system.  Once that is done, the client's local printer
will become available to the terminal server session.

E.g., if you have a deskjet 895 on the client, and load
this driver on the terminal server, the client can then
print to it's local printer during the terminal server session.

Note that printer naming gets a little tricky, but it
is nothing that cannot be overcome.  To load drivers on
the server, do start/settings/printers, file/server properties,
then drivers.  The driver needs to match both the client
printer type and operating system.
