Customizable menus

Okay, if the feature appeared in 5.0, then the reason we were doing this 10
years ago and longer... was I used to use Dave Staubles FL-Menu program
(which I'm sure he still sells.) It absolutely mimics filePro's menu-ing
exactly. But, it has loads of other features, like not pushing an element
off the menu by mistake, and the ability to read in variables, and re-set
the environment of the menu after doing so... it's very cool. But, I stopped
using this just about the time 5.0 came out I guess. I think becuase there
was/is a user license of so many users, and we were exceeding that. The 5.0
ability to read in a variable must have come in just in time for me not to
notice any difference. Dave's menu program has been available for at least
15 years.
